Evangelos Stefatos

Evangelos Stefatos holds the position of the IC Manager in u-blox (acquired Antcor S.A) site in Greece. He has obtained a PhD in Evolvable Hardware from the Science and Engineering Department of Edinburgh University (2003-2007), as well as, an MSc degree in System-Level-Integration from the same University (2002-2003). He also holds a bachelor degree in Electronics from the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus (1996-2000). Moreover, he has been in NXP Semiconductors (2007-2011) as a senior scientist dealing with the modelling of SoC architectures and infrastructures for performance analysis and optimisation of multimedia applications. He has also worked in the Telecommunication area (Intracom, ISD, Antcor) for more than 5 years as VLSI and S/W engineer. In academia, during his PhD, he has undertaken the VLSI-laboratory demonstrator, tutoring Verilog to 3rd and 4th year undergraduates. Moreover, he has been associated with Inasco Hellas (2011-2012), as a senior scientist, involved with research works related to wireless-sensor-network based Structural-Health-Monitoring systems. Finally he demonstrates a significant number of publications in fault-tolerant and low-power VLSI design.
