Maria Seimeni

Maria A. Seimeni received a first degree from Electrical and Computer Engineering School of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh, GR) in 2007 and her M.Sc in Avionics & Systems Engineering from the Aeronautics Department at Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo, IT) in 2009. In parallel, she was working at the premises of Alenia Aeronautica S.p.A., Turin-Italy, on EMC procedures and testing issues. She received her PhD degree on wireless communications from the Electrical and Computer Engineering School of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, GR).
She has been nominated as a Management Committee member to COST Action IC1407 [Advanced characterisation and classification of radiated emissions in densely integrated technologies-ACCREDIT], attends the meetings of EMC Experts Group of Airbus EADS (UK), while she is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2009. She collaborates with Intelligent Communication and Broadband Networks Laboratory (ICBNET) of NTUA and the department of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Twente (UT, NL). She has been involved in space projects of the European Space Agency (ESA), aerospace projects, as well as international/national research projects.
Her scientific interests include: spectral multiple access in multicellular wireless systems, HetNets bridging, EMC and Shielding Effectiveness methods in (aero)space, design and testing of complex microwave circuits. She is a reviewer in International Scientific Journals and International Scientific Conferences.
